About the webinar

The age of Autonomous Vehicles and Intelligent Buildings is rapidly approaching, and a foundational requirement for this progress is establishing a standards-driven, secure pipeline for IoT data transfer from ECUs in vehicles and building sensors to cloud-based systems. This on-demand webinar dives into Excelfore’s approach to creating such a pipeline, centered on the eSync Standard. This includes handling upstream data pull, such as device status, error codes, and performance metrics, as well as downstream data push for over-the-air software and firmware updates.

Throughout the session, we present representative examples using Amazon Web Services. The eSync System, compatible with popular automotive processors and operating systems, efficiently transfers vehicle data to the AWS Cloud. For Intelligent Buildings, data-gathering applications leverage Amazon Greengrass for real-time sensor data inputs and edge-based event processing through a Rules Engine. Sensor data flows seamlessly from these edge devices to AWS IoT Core via MQTT, with data processing in AWS using EMR and storage in AWS S3. Filtered data is stored in ElasticSearch for final output to web apps, and user management is securely managed via AWS Cognito, enabling secure access to a “diagnostic portal.” R Systems’ AWS-powered solution enables comprehensive operational insights across the IoT supply chain.
